About Steve
Steve Marshall explodes into the crowd, opting for no microphone, preferring the audience to the stage. Weaving at speed through chairs, at times taking to the tops of them, he moves like a battlefield medic under fire — healing people with laughter.
Marshall's Don't Behave style relies on a sharp mind and a complete inability to behave himself. Nothing too controversial, just a little good old-fashioned honesty — especially refreshing in today's super sensitive, politically correct climate.
Explosive, fearless, spontaneous, and most of all — fun.

What people
are saying.
Steve Marshall is the only comedian who can do an hour clean or an hour edgy.
Bad behavior makes for good comedy. Marshall's style relies on a sharp mind and a complete inability to properly behave himself — nothing too controversial, just a little good-old-fashioned honesty.
I want you to close the shows because I know they will still be talking about you tomorrow and telling their friends the great time they had.
“Steve is the headliner of my Comedy for Peace shows. Before every show I tell him I am depending on you to bring us home. You really represent our theme — peace.”
“Students love him. We've asked him to perform at Mount Saint Mary College three times.”
“Headlines my clean Orthodox synagogue comedy shows. Over an hour of clean comedy. Hilarious.”
“Use him for a lot of private parties. He's funny and can adapt to any situation.”
An Evening with Steve Marshall
March 18, 2023
I've had the pleasure of knowing Steve and seeing his act numerous times over the past 20 years, and tonight was unlike any comedy show of his I've ever seen.
He started by greeting nearly every person in the audience, while talking to everyone. About 15 minutes in, I realized he wasn't going up on stage, or using the microphone. He wasn't doing a typical comedy show — instead he was humorously interacting with his audience, delivering a few of his signature jokes, but mostly audience-inspired, thought-provoking, humorous improv. His hour was eventually up, but did the show end? He stayed and took pictures with anyone who wanted one, shared stories and mentor advice to younger comedians, and even in the parking lot on the way to the car, still chatting and taking pictures.
Got me thinking — was there a 'show,' implying a brief welcoming detour from reality? Or did we just hang out with Steve for 90 minutes?
If you want to experience the laugh-till-your-face-hurts kind of night but also wonder where the show started and stopped, check his website and have An Evening with Steve Marshall.
